Breckon Jones is American Express’ Head of Total Reward for Australia and New Zealand and also manages the company’s global employee health and wellbeing strategy. Breckon has been with American Express for 6 years, having repatriated to Australia in 2014. He previously held a variety of European Health and Benefits leadership roles whilst based in the UK for 10 years.
Prior to joining American Express, Breckon worked for Unilever, where he was the Head of Employee Health and Vitality, pioneering a program model for workplace health enhancement that was cited by the UK Government as the gold standard for population health management. 
In his early career, Breckon worked with major blue-chip companies in the Asia Pacific region as a corporate consultant and with athletes combining mental and physical skills programs using his qualifications in Performance Psychology. 
Breckon is a contributing author to the recently published Human Resources book “Flourishing in Life, Work and Careers” (2015) and speaks regularly at HR industry conferences around the world.

The youngest person in Shukokai karate awarded a 1st dan black belt at age 14, Karen went on to be graded to 3rd dan after many more years of dedicated training and teaching.
